Bio Enzyme Calculator

Bioenzymes are vital for sustainable living, offering a safe, low-cost, and eco-conscious alternative to chemical products. They not only reduce household and industrial pollution but also turn everyday waste into valuable resources.

  • Definition: Bioenzymes are biological catalysts derived from microorganisms during fermentation of organic matter.
  • How They Work: Microbes break down organic waste, releasing enzymes that accelerate chemical reactions without being consumed themselves.
  • Household Cleaning
    • Natural alternative to chemical cleaners.
    • Effective for floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry.
  • Agriculture
    • Used as bio-fertilizers and pest repellents.
    • Improve soil health and nutrient absorption.
  • Waste Management
    • Aid in composting and breaking down organic waste.
    • Reduce foul odors and accelerate decomposition.
  • Water Treatment
    • Help in wastewater purification by breaking down pollutants.
  • Personal Care
    • Incorporated in eco-friendly shampoos, soaps, and detergents.
  • Eco-Friendly: Replace harmful chemical cleaners and fertilizers, reducing pollution.
  • Cost-Effective: Made from kitchen waste, lowering household and industrial expenses.
  • Sustainability: Promote circular use of organic waste, aligning with zero-waste goals.
  • Health Benefits: Non-toxic, safe for humans, pets, and plants.
  • Carbon Footprint Reduction: Their production and use minimize reliance on synthetic chemicals, contributing to climate action.
🥭 Ingredients You’ll Need
  • Fruit/vegetable peels (citrus peels like orange, lemon, pineapple work best) – 3 parts

  • Jaggery – 1 part

  • Water – 10 parts

(Example: 300g peels + 100g jaggery + 1L water)

⚗️ Preparation Steps
  1. Mix Ingredients

    • Add jaggery to a clean plastic container.

    • Add fruit peels.

    • Pour water and stir well.

  2. Fermentation

    • Seal the container tightly but allow slight gas release (you can open the lid every few days).

    • Keep it in a cool, dark place.

    • Fermentation takes 2–3 months.

  3. Maintenance

    • Stir or shake lightly once a week.

    • Release gas buildup to avoid bursting.

  4. Completion

    • After 90 days, filter the liquid. (If mother culture/previously made bio enzyme added then only 30 days)

    • Store in bottles for use.

    • The leftover pulp can be composted.

  • Floor Cleaner: Dilute 1 part bioenzyme with 20 parts water.

  • Bathroom/Kitchen Cleaner: Use directly or dilute slightly.

  • Laundry: Add a small amount to rinse water.

  • Plant Fertilizer: Dilute heavily (1:100) and spray on soil.

  • Drain Cleaner: Pour directly to break down grease and odor.
